USAble Life Announces Voluntary Short Term Disability Changes
USAble Life has changed all Voluntary Short Term Disability plans, which involves quoting group specific rates. The voluntary Income Protection (VIP) plan was renamed: Voluntary Short Term Disability (VSTD).All new groups and new hires applying within their eligibility period will qualify for guarantee issue, up to $750/week if the group meets the new participation requirements. Current participation requirements will apply to existing groups with VSTD, however new group participation requirements will be 15 percent or five lives, whichever is greater.
