Enhanced Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Benefits for New Groups

New employer STD and LTD groups of 200 lives or more will now receive access to an enhanced employee assistance program automatically through USAble Life, in conjunction with New Directions Behavioral Health (NDBH). This program includes access to comprehensive online resources, as well as access for employees to receive up to three face-to-face assessment and counseling sessions per event.

Employers can also take advantage of the many services and functions provided by NDBH that will assist them in dealing with employee related issues. Employees will have access to the employee assistance resources 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week.

While the enhanced EAP benefits will be available to new groups with 200 or more lives, the current online EAP program via ComPsych will continue to be included in quotes for STD and LTD groups under 200 lives.
